This week’s main attraction sees third-placed Sarpsborg host first-placed Brann on Sunday evening.

It’s been a bit of a rough start for yours truly with my strike rate looking worse than that of a tail-end cricket batsman. Anyway, a new week brings new hope and I doubt we’ll see as many upsets as we did in gameweek 13. This week’s main attraction sees third-placed Sarpsborg host first-placed Brann on Sunday evening. The other notable clash sees mid-table duo Odds Bk and Aalesunds lock horns at the Skagerak Arena.

Saturday 24 June

11/10 Vaerenga | Draw 24/10 | Lillestrom 22/10 (18:00)

Saturday’s solitary fixture sees eighth-placed Vaerenga take on 10th-placed Lillestrom. The visitors have been in red-hot form and are currently on a three-game winning streak. And while the hosts are also unbeaten in three, they have drawn two of those fixtures. Both of these sides have been in relatively solid goal scoring touch and are averaging just over a goal per game. It may be a bit short but my money is on the Additional Totals – Over 1.5 Goals – market which is available at 2/9.

Sunday 25 June

11/10 Sarpsborg | 5/2 | Brann 43/20 (18:00)

We now move onto Sunday’s action, which gets underway with five simultaneous kick-offs. The first game we’ll take a look at is between Sarpsborg and Brann, who occupy third and first spot respectively. The hosts come into this one off the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Sandefjord, while the visitors registered an impressive 5-0 victory over Stabaek on Monday evening. I’m quite certain we will see a few goals here. As such, my money is on the Totals – Over 2.5 Goals – market which is available at 9/20!

9/10 Tromso | 51/20 | Sandefjord 26/10 (18:00)

Next up its relegation-threatened Tromso taking on 11th placed Sandefjord. The visitors will be on a high heading into this one after they beat high-flying Sarpsborg last week, while the hosts suffered their third defeat on the trot going down 3-0 to Molde. These sides have really struggled to keep clean sheets with Tromso conceding 24 goals at an average of just under two goals per game and Sandefjord shipping 20 in 13 fixtures. With stats like that staring me in the face, I can’t help but tip the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 7/10.

13/20 Stabaek | 11/4 | Kristiansund 38/10 (18:00)

Stabaek will be looking to atone for their dreadful Monday night showing when they take on Kristiansund. The hosts suffered their third consecutive defeat when they went down to Brann with the result seeing them drop down to ninth on the log. Kristiansund enjoyed a more fruitful gameweek with their 1-1 draw seeing them move up one place on the standings. The hosts may be struggling for results but I can see desperation getting them over the line. Get on the home win at 13/20!

1/5 Rosenborg | 5/1 | Sogndal 11/1 (18:00)

Rosenborg will be looking to atone for a rather shoddy performance against Haugesund when they host 14th placed Kristiansund this Sunday. Rosenborg’s 1-0 defeat to Haugesund ended a three-match unbeaten run and was their second defeat in the space of five gameweeks. Sogndal enjoyed a much better gameweek last time out as they managed to hold high-flying Odds BK to a goalless draw. Again, it’s not the greatest value on offer but a Rosenborg win at 1/5 is my tip here.

29/20 Aalesunds | 22/10 | Odds BK 18/10 (18:00)

Sunday’s penultimate fixtures sees sixth-placed Aalesunds play host to fourth-placed Odds BK. The visitors make the trip off the back of a 0-0 draw with Sogndal while the hosts registered the same result but did manage to bag a goal against Kristiansund last Saturday. I quite fancy the away side here. They’ve been in decent touch while the hosts are struggling for results. At 18/10, an Odds BK win offers terrific value!

21/20 Viking | 49/20 | Haugesund 23/10 (20:00)

Sunday’s final fixture sees cellar-dwellers Viking play host to Haugesund. The visitors have been in great form of late and are undefeated in three matches, while the hosts have lost three of their last five fixtures. I’m quite confident we will see the away side claim a win here and 23/10, the Haugesund win represents great value!

Monday 26 June

23/20 Stromgodset | 47/20 | Molde 21/10 (19:00)

Stromgodset and Molde will bring the curtain down on gameweek 14’s action. These two sides have experienced contrasting fortunes thus far with Molde sitting pretty in fifth place and Stromgodset only a point off the relegation places. Molde have won three of their last five games and my money is on them making it four from six – get on at a kind 21/10!

TREBLE @ 4/1

Sarpsborg vs SK Brann Over 2.5 Goals 9/20

Rosenborg Win 1/5

Molde Win 21/10
