Njabulo Ngcobo says Kaizer Chiefs will need to cut out individual errors to stand a chance of securing a second-placed DStv Premiership finish.

Runaway league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns are just a point away from claiming a fifth successive league title leaving the runners-up spot up for grabs.

Royal AM are leading the chase in second with 45 points; followed by Cape Town City (40) and Kaizer Chiefs in fourth with 39 points.

Amakhosi have lost their last two league fixtures, and next face Golden Arrows away from home on Wednesday.

Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard are in temporary charge following Stuart Baxter’s sacking.

Ahead of the encounter, Ngcobo said on KickOff: “Even though we didn’t win (against Stellenbosch) the way they supported us showed that they (fans) are with us wholeheartedly.

“The mistakes that happened in that game are what led to us not winning the match. The way we played the game was good because we were able to do a lot of things. The way we moved showed that we have an aim.

“Going to Durban if we can fix those mistakes at the back then we have a lot of chances of winning the match because everyone wants to play. Even our players have the desire to score goals.

“In Durban, Kaizer Chiefs is also a big team, and everyone loves this team.

“I believe we will get maximum points.”
