Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala have been named CAF African Player of the Year and CAF African Women’s Player of the Year.
The 2023 CAF Awards ceremony took place in Morocco on Monday.
Napoli’s Osimhen won the men’s award ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi and Liverpool striker Mohammed Salah.
Oshoala, who plays for Barcelona, has now won the award for the sixth time.
In other awards, Morocco’s Walid Regragui was named CAF Best Coach of the Year while South Africa’s Desiree Ellis received the Best Coach award in the women’s category.
