Neymar has finally rejoined training at Paris Saint-Germain after failing to report for the beginning of pre-season amid reports he would return to Barcelona.
The Brazilian caused a stir when he failed to report for the first day of pre-season training with PSG, leading to suggestions he was trying to engineer a move back to Camp Nou.
PSG are set to punish the player for his no-show, but Neymar has now moved to cool the situation by telling reporters in Brazil that he will return to training with PSG as normal.
“The injury is fine,” said Neymar.
“Coming back (to France) I will train normally, with the group. 100%.
“It was hard days after the injury, but I had to have a focus, take care so I could get back as fast as I could,” he revealed.
The Parisians have suggested they would cash in on Neymar if any club, including Barca, matched their valuation, but as things stand that has yet to happen.
