NEDBANK CUP: Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns at home in last 16 of Nedbank Cup

A cup that is known for having several David vs Goliath fixtures due to the participation of teams from lower leagues who are out to make a name for themselves at the expense of the PSL heavyweights.

The draw for the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup has thrown up some interesting ties, while at the same time keeping fan favourites like defending champions Orlando pirates and league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns apart.

Defending champions Pirates will host Hungry Lions at Orlando Stadium. While Mamelodi Sundowns will host Motsepe Foundation Championship side Maritzburg United.

Milford FC who defied the odds to beat Kaizer Chiefs have a home tie against Stellenbosch FC as a reward for their giant slaying act.

The only two all-DStv Premiership encounters feature Richards Bay, and SuperSport United. With Sekhukhune United going up against AmaZulu.

While the draw has been completed the PSL has yet to confirm the dates for the fixtures.
