Marumo Gallants goalkeeper King Ndlovu says his side head into their Nedbank Cup final as massive underdogs.
Gallants ended their season in 10th place on the DStv Premiership standings as Sundowns claimed a fifth succesive title, and with 31 more points than the side they face this weekend.
Ndlovu though has been first choice at Gallants ahead of last season’s Nedbank Cup player of the tournament Washington Arubi, and who been nominated for the player of the tournament award this term along with Andile Jali and Aubrey Modiba.
Speaking ahead of the weekend’s game at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Ndlovu said on IOL: “We are the underdogs and nobody is giving us a chance.
“The important thing for us to do is to trust in ourselves and believe that we can do it.
“We have got some quality players in our team to get us through the line. We also do have experience.
“We are confident that we can get through this.”
