Sundowns boss Pitso Mosimane claims that Sibusiso Vilakazi is not worth R10m (Picture: Backpagepix) |
Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane believes the R10million price tag placed on Wits midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi is far too expensive.
The Brazilians mentor believes there is no South African footballer worth that much money in the current transfer market.
Sundowns are reportedly looking to negotiate a deal that would include a more reasonable amount of money plus a player, but they are in a tussle with Kaizer Chiefs for the services of the Bafana Bafana midfielder.
“We can’t afford to pay so much money. In my own opinion I think there is no player worth more than R10million in South Africa,” Mosimane told KickOff.
“In my opinion even my own players [are not worth that much]. I think it’s not worth it, that money, we are not going to pay it.”
