MORGAN MAMMILA SAYS HE IS FEELING NO PRESSURE AHEAD OF BAROKA’S MUST-WIN CLASH AGAINST RICHARDS BAY FC

Baroka boss Morgan Mammila says the pressure is on Richards Bay heading into their final relegation/promotion play-off encounter.

The Natal Rich Boys currently top the three-team group with five points while Baroka are bottom with two points.

A win for Mammila’s side could see them move above Richards Bay and secure their place back in the DStv Premiership after a two year absence – but they will need to win by at least two goals.

Vusumuzi Vilakazi’s charges, meanwhile, just need a draw for promotion, but Mammila insists his side will play their final play-off encounter without fear as Bay have more to lose.

Ahead of Wednesday’s clash, Mammila said his side are still within a good chance of overcoming Bay and securing their own promotion.

He told the Sowetan: “It is not too much to ask. If you look at the chances we created in our previous two matches, you will see that we should have scored more.

“So, let’s see. It is a difficult match to play. People are fighting for their lives. They don’t want to lose their big contracts. My players are also hungry. They don’t want to remain in the NFD (Motsepe Foundation Championship]), so it will be a big match.”

Mammila added: “We have less pressure than those who don’t want to lose big contracts. The stress is not the same. We have the normal stress and they have the worst one. I think we are ready. We had a break and we will do our best.”
