Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic has hinted that the club will not be bringing in new faces during the January transfer window.
Pirates are enjoying a generally positive season in the Premiership and currently are in second place in the standings.
However, the Sea Robbers did lose the Telkom Knockout final to Baroka and there have been some questions asked about the quality in the goal-scoring department.
Currently, Vincent Pule and Thembinkosi Lorch are leading the way in the league with four strikes-a-piece.
Nonetheless, ‘Micho’ believes Pirates have a balanced squad and it seemed unlikely they would bring in new players in the January transfer window.
He said: “You know that we have the core of the team. When you have that bond and family atmosphere you cannot now come and risk anything – especially during this window that comes at the halfway point of the season.
“If we do go (into the market) it would really be something that is urgently needed – otherwise you have a full team, which was formed in June and July.
He concluded of Bucs’ approach in January: “This is something I will not talk about – our management has a report and they are doing their job behind the scenes. Everything will be communicated in due time.”
