Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi has high hopes for up-and-coming youngster Kutlwano Letlhaku.
The 18-year-old earned a place in Sundowns’ pre-season tour of Austria after an impressive season in the DStv Diski Challenge.
He has seemingly continued to impress and has Mngqithi predicting a bright future for the talented midfielder.
Letlhaku recorded his second senior outing for the club, in a substitute appearance in the 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch in their MTN8 semi-final first leg.
The Downs mentor said on iDiski Times: “I can guarantee you he’s going to be one of our big revelations this season.
“He has done exceptionally well in pre-season and he has scored some terrific goals. Very instrumental in our attacking play – strong and decisive in one against one.
“He’s got an eye for a goal and he’s also a very good passer of the ball, even in this game he played a very good pass for Themba [Zwane].
“I think that boy is a very big talent. If there is someone that’s got a realistic chance to go overseas, it’s that boy. I rate him very highly.
“And we must also help him with that, because I believe if he can do that there is a very big chance that he will be a big success at Sundowns.”
