Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly completed the signing of talented young winger Sechaba Gaseitsiwe.
The 17-year-old was a standout performer at the 2024 Engen Champ of Champs.
He joins Sundowns from Northern Cape amateur side Galeshewe Stars.
A number of Betway Premiership sides were said to be chasing the player, who ultimately opted to join the Premier Soccer League champions.
FARPost wrote: “For now, Gaseitsiwe will be playing for the Chloorkop-based outfit’s DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] side.
“The talented winger will be hoping to impress Masandawana’s technical and earn his promotion to the first team.”
Cape Town City, Sekhukhune United, Kaizer Chiefs, TS Galaxy, Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch all had eyes on Gaseitsiwe.
Nduvho Munyai of P Management told the publication: “The boy is a very special talent, one of the top players in his age group.
“He is a raw talent that comes from the Northern Cape. Another thing is that he has been in a very good set-up in Galeshewe Stars.”
