Mamelodi Sundowns have terminated Erwin Saavedra’s loan spell at Club Bolivar after six months.
The Bolivia international star’s first season was hampered by injuries and he was subsequently shipped out.
However, his impressive form in the Bolivian top-flight for Club Bolivar has prompted Masandawana to recall the 18-capped international.
“Club Bolívar reports that Erwin Saavedra’s 6-month loan has come to an end. The Mamelodi Sundowns Club of South Africa has requested his reinstatement for the preseason,” read Club Bolivar’s statement on X.
“We wish Erwin the greatest success in this new stage of his career. We appreciate his commitment and dedication during his time with us and are confident that he will continue to excel in his professional career.”
