Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Argentine midfielder Matias Esquivel.
According to reports, the 24-year-old Club Atletico Lanus player, who is currently on loan to CA Talleres, is set to join the Brazilians for a whopping R46.7m.
Esquivel played 39 games in all competitions last season for the Argentine Primera Division side, scoring three goals and assisting a further four.
iDiski Times say: “The Argentine had agreed personal terms last month while the two clubs negotiated on a transfer fee for the highly-rated talent.
“It sent shockwaves in his homeland, with many expecting the player to potentially move to Europe after a standout campaign with the Primera Division outfit as they finished fourth in the 28-team division.”
