Dan Malesela remains confident he will be back in a coaching job soon but admits to being frustrated at being out of work.
The former Chippa United and TS Galaxy head coach parted ways with Marumo Gallants after his contract wasn’t renewed at the end of the 2021/22 DStv Premiership season.
He secured a 10th place finish with Gallants while reaching the Nedbank Cup final last term, but that seemingly wasn’t enough for the ambitious new top-flight team.
Malesela has been linked with a move to Royal AM, who are in need of a coach after John Maduka departed for Maritzburg United.
But he told the Sowetan: “I’ve not been approached and nothing has happened so far.
“It is getting frustrating because people are opening up [and nothing is happening], so I’m getting a bit frustrated.
“There should be something, but I’m confident that I will get something.”
