AmaZulu FC striker Lehlohonolo Majoro does not feel daunted in any way ahead of the DStv Premiership clash against ‘table-toppers’ Mamelodi Sundowns today at Jonsson Kings Park Stadium.

In their last outing on Friday, AmaZulu clinched a 1-0 victory against Marumo Gallants at Peter Mokaba Stadium thanks to an 87th-minute goal by Thembela Sikhakhane.

In an interview with the AmaZulu media team, Majoro said the victory over Gallants was just the tonic needed to put them in the right frame of mind in facing Sundowns today.

Usuthu are unbeaten in their last 10 games.

“It was a very tough game against Marumo Gallants, a very tough side and they made us work so hard, but we are the kind of squad that doesn’t give up and that resulted in us getting maximum points,” Majoro spoke via the club’s media team.

“It was a good win for us after not getting maximum points in a long time, it came in a very good time where we will face unbeaten Mamelodi Sundowns,” Majoro said.

“We’ve played them already and they beat us by 1-0 away but coming here we must double our efforts, do everything in our powers to make sure we get a win, it won’t be easy because they are raining champions and they’ve been showing it.”

“They are unbeaten but with the squad we have, I’m confident that we can do the business,” he added.
