Lesotho ‘goal machine’ linked to KZN move

Lesotho international striker Katleho Makateng is reportedly in talks with newly-promoted Richards Bay FC over a possible move to the DStv Premiership side.

According to Soccer Laduma, the 23-year-old Makateng, who scored 20 goals this past season for the Lesotho Defence Force in the countries Premier League, is currently in advanced talks with Richards Bay over playing in South Africa this season.
Makateng has been raking in the awards in Lesotho, where he was named: Young Player of the Season, Player of the Season and Player’s Player of the Season.
He was recently in action for the Lesotho national team, on 6 July, during the COSAFA Cup where he scored in the 2-1 victory over Malawi.
Richards Bay FC will be playing in the Mangosuthu Legacy Cup this weekend alongside AmaZulu FC, Zululand District XI and Mamelodi Sundowns.
