Chippa United caretaker coach Kurt Lentjies is waiting to hear whether club chairman Chippa Mpengesi will keep him on as head coach.
Lentjies was appointed to take over the coaching role temporarily, while Morgan Mammila acted as his assistant, after Gavin Hunt was fired late in 2021.
In an interview with KickOff.com, Mammila confirmed he was waiting to see what has been decided by Chippa Mpengesi about his future coaching career, which currently hangs in limbo.
“I’m waiting for my seniors to decide,” Mammila tells KickOff.com.
“Remember I’m a servant of football. One thing for sure I know is I’ll be working for Chippa next season.
“But I will see what the chairman wants me to do because we need to take this club to the next level.
“Any opportunity that is presented to me I’ll go all out, I don’t care about positions.
“Anything that has to do with football I’m the happiest man.”
