KWANDA MNGONYAMA DOUBTFUL OF HIS FUTURE AT MOROKA SWALLOWS

Kwanda Mngonyama admits he is uncertain as to his future with Moroka Swallows.

The 30-year-old former Mamelodi Sundowns and Maritzburg United centre-back joined the Dube Birds from Orlando Pirates in 2022.

He has played 40 times for the DStv Premiership club, setting up one goal.

But with his contract set to expire and rumours of Swallows going up sale has left Mngonyama unsure as to where he will be playing next season.

Marumo Gallants are reportedly in the process of attemptng to acquire Swallows’ status.

Mngonyama said in the Sowetan: “My contract with Swallows is coming to an end and we will see where the future takes us. I’m just waiting.”

On the sale of the club, the player added: “I won’t say much because they have not told us anything.

“It is still a rumour for me, but then it’s okay. I can’t say much about it.”
