Kroos still to sign Real Madrid deal

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has reportedly refused to sign a new contract and will consider his options in the next year.

According to Cadena SER, the 32-year-old Kroos has delayed signing a new contract at the club as he wants to still make a decision on his future before committing any new deal at Los Blancos. He does still has a year left on his contract.

Since signing in 2014 from Bayern Munich, Kroos has played and essential role in Madrid’s midfield engine leading the way to the clubs success in recent years.

He is part of the great midfield trifecta with Luka Modric and Casemiro, which has led to Real Madrid’s trophy haul in recent years.

Real Madrid are looking to tie Kroos downs to a new contract to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu but for now the midfielder is yet to put pen to paper.
