Former Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman says midfielder Frenkie de Jong told him that he wants to stay at Barca.
Manchester United are looking more and more likely to signing the Netherlands international and his compatriot Koeman reveals that he does not want to leave the Catalans.
“A couple of days ago he told me he wanted to continue. What I don’t know is if Barca wants to sell him or needs money, because he is one of the few players for whom they can get a good amount,” said Koemman.
Man United manager Erik Ten Hag – also a Dutch man – is very keen to collaborate with De Jong once again after the pair went to the semi-finals of the Champions League during De Jong’s time at hometown club Ajax Amsterdam with Ten Hag in charge.
