Khama Billiat is excited to be back playing for Zimbabwe after coming out of international retirement.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs attacker called time on his international career back in 2021.
He has since moved from the South African Premiership to the Zimbabwean top-flight where he has been banging in the goals for Yadah FC.
The Warriors are busy campaigning for a place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and secured a 0-0 draw with Kenya in Group J on Friday.
Billiat played the full 90 minutes but didn’t manage to find the back of the net.
His next test will be a qualifier with Cameroon on Tuesday.
Billiat said on FARPost: “I just came back from retirement. This call-up means a lot for me to represent our great country, Zimbabwe, against Kenya and Cameroon.
“It’s very important for me; I hope we will do well under our new coach. It’s a new set-up, so we expect a new trajectory of winning all games.
“I hope it will be different. So far it has been great for us, he has been great so far. He is a great motivator to us and his trust gives me more energy to keep up working hard.”
