The 32-year-old former Bafana Bafana international, who joined TS Galaxy after his departure from Kaizer Chiefs in 2024, has quickly become more than just an experienced player on the field.

His decorated career, including a stint playing in France for Montpellier, serves as a tangible example of what can be achieved.

Ndamane elaborated on this, telling FARPost, “The presence of Keagan Dolly is helping us a lot as youngsters. We know where he’s coming from in his career.”

“Sometimes we watch old videos of him playing overseas, and that makes us believe we can also reach that level one day.” This showcases how Dolly’s past achievements are actively fueling the dreams and aspirations of the younger Galaxy players.

Beyond his on-field contributions, Dolly has embraced a mentorship role within Adnan Beganovic’s team. Ndamane specifically praised Dolly’s encouraging presence during challenging moments in matches.

“If we lose the ball, he tells us not to drop our heads. That kind of support helps us keep going,” Ndamane revealed. He also acknowledged the broader influence of senior players, stating, “And it’s not just Dolly — senior players like Mlungisi Mbunjana are also guiding us,” indicating a positive leadership environment within the club.

Since joining The Rockets, the former Kaizer Chiefs man has featured in 15 league matches, playing a pivotal role in their commendable Betway Premiership campaign, where they currently occupy a solid fifth position with 36 points from 26 games, demonstrating consistent performance in the top half of the league.
