Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr has welcomed new signing Ignacio Miguel to the Betway Premiership club.
The 28-year-old Angolan international joined Amakhosi from Petro Luanda this week on a three-year deal.
Amakhosi have been hard at work strengthening their side ahead of the 2024/25 season under new head coach Nabi Nasreddine.
Miguel is a welcome addition to the Chiefs defence and is the club’s fifth new addition following the signings of Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, Bongani Sam and Gaston Sirino.
Motaung Jr told the Chiefs website: “We are happy to have a player of Inacio Miguel’s calibre join our team.
“We’ve watched him and believe his experience, skill and passion for the game embody the spirit of Kaizer Chiefs and will add a lot of positives in the team.
“We believe that he will contribute significantly with his talent and are looking forward to working with him as he writes another chapter of his career in South Africa.”
