ABSA Premiership | Saturday 21 September | FNB Stadium | 20:15
To Win (90 Min)
Chiefs 9/10
Plat Stars 28/10
Draw 23/10
Here are two sides that everyone loves to watch, well I do anyway.
A mouth-watering climax to a day filled with epic clashes.
Chiefs are almost a given, with them fielding a starting XI almost entirely made up of Bafana-capped stars.
Last time at home against Maritzburg United they looked great, and dispatched of them without too much hassle.
Dikwena, on the other hand, can be a mixed bag at times, but I just love seeing them in full flight.
If they rock up on the day in the right head space they can beat anyone, anywhere, including the AmaKhosi.
Had this been played in the North West, I’d be bullish about Stars’ chances to put one over Chiefs, but their aforementioned abilities tend to let them down away from home more than at Royal Bafokeng.
It’s with this in mind, and the fact that the champs are such a force a Soccer City, that I see this going in Chiefs’ favour.
Betting Prediction: Kaizer Chiefs
It’ll be closer than the 9/10 on offer, so look to include in multiples and possibly dip into the exotics. Chiefs to be up at halftime is at 17/10, and looks a good way to go.
