Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly closing in on the signing of Golden Arrows defender Bradley Cross.
The 23-year-old former Schalke and Newcastle youth and reserve player spent last season in the DStv Premiership with Golden Arrows.
He had moved to Abafana Bes’thende from Maritzburg United, whom he joined in January 2023 following his return to South Africa.
Cross had suffered a serious injury while with Newcaslte and opted to move back home to recover.
Recent reporting suggest that Amakhosi have activated an R3 million release clause in the players contract and can now begin to negotiate personal terms.
If the move is completed, Cross would become Chiefs’ sixth new signing, joining Bongani Sam, Fiacre Ntwari, Rushwin Dortley, Gaston Sirino and Angolan defender Inacio Miguel at the Nasreddine Nabi-coached club.
