Kaizer Chiefs boosted by the return of Inacio Miguel

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has welcomed the return of Angolan defender Inacio Miguel back into his squad.

The 28-year-old missed the club’s last two games following the suspension he sustained for his red card in the 4-0 Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Miguel had started all of the club’s first six games of the season in all competitions and is set to return for the league clash with Polokwane City on Sunday.

Speaking about the player recently, Amakhosi head coach Nasreddine Nabi said in the Citizen: “He needs time for adaptation, not only to the football, but also the atmosphere.

“I think he wants to give his maximum for Kaizer Chiefs, sometimes it is too much!

“But he has personality, I love this guy! He has promised me he will be more careful.”

Reeve Frosler, meanwhile, still has one game to serve of a two-match ban after his red card against Richards Bay.

Chiefs are currently in seventh place on the league standings with 11 points from seven games, while Phuti Mohafe’s charges are in fifth with 14 points from nine matches.
