As the new Betway Premiership season kicks off on Saturday, all eyes will be on Kaizer Chiefs as they look to turn a new page in their history.
After a disappointing 10th-place finish last season, the club has made significant changes, including the appointment of a new coach, Nasreddine Nabi.
Nabi faces a daunting task as he takes charge of Chiefs, and his first test will be an away trip to Marumo Gallants, a newly-promoted team that purchased the Premiership status of Moroka Swallows. The match is scheduled for 5pm at Free State Stadium.
Ahead of the clash, Nabi has urged the passionate AmaKhosi fans to exercise patience and understanding as the team embarks on a new journey.
“If you respect Kaizer Chiefs and the fans of Kaizer Chiefs, you will understand that patience is key. I know there is a challenge,” said Nabi.
