Kaizer Chiefs still believe in title challenge, insists Reeve Frosler

Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler is hopeful of a late Betway Premiership title charge.

Amakhosi have struggled to find a consistent rhythm under new boss Nasreddine Nabi. His team are currently in sixth place on the league standings with five wins from 13 games.

They are, however, just 12 points from leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with 17 games still to play.

The club also still have the Nedbank Cup to play for and has been drawn to face Free Agents at the FNB Stadium on January 26.

Speaking ahead of their clash with an in-form Sekhuhkune United this weekend, Frosler explained that the team are still taking their season just one game at a time.

He said: “We have to think about making a challenge this season like I said it’s one game at a time; we focus on the next game and who knows where we could end off.

“I don’t know how many games so far 12/13 games we’ve got how many games are left in the season and in the cups so let’s take it one game at a time who knows where we could become June.”
