Royal AM have reportedly submitted an offer to sign Former Orlando Pirates defender Happy Jele.
According to KickOff.com, Royal AM made contact with the 35-year-old Jele hoping to bring in his experience ahead of the upcoming season.
After 16-years and over 400 appearances at Pirates, Jele parted ways from the club where he won eight trophies and now looks set to join Royal AM in KZN.
According to KickOff.com sources, Royal AM owner Shaun Mkhize will meet with Jele to finalise a deal on Tuesday.
“Royal AM have handed Happy Jele their offer,” the source tells KickOff.com.
“They are expected to meet on Tuesday to finalise a deal. If things go well, the club is expected to unveil him imminently.”
If Jele joins Royal AM it will be as a free agent after officially parting ways with the Buccaneers on Monday.
