‘IT’S NOW OR NEVER’, SAYS TUKS COACH TLISANE MOTAUNG, AHEAD OF FINAL PLAY-OFF CLASH

University of Pretoria coach Tlisane Motaung knows nothing less than three points will do in their relegation/promotion play-off encounter with Richards Bay.

Tuks are currently in second place in the three-team group that also includes Baroka.

Both Motaung’s side and Richards Bay are on four points but Tuks only have one game left to play while the Natal Rich Boys still have to play Bakgaga, who are on two points from three games.

Richards Bay won their first play-off clash with Tuks 1-0 but Motaung is determined to secure a win at home on Saturday, having drawn 1-1 with Baroka on Wednesday.

The Tuks boss said in the Sowetan: “Now we are playing at home against Richards Bay, it won’t be easy. We have to go and fight, it’s now or never.

“We need to go in and make sure we grind results because playing a draw in that game might be a big disadvantage for us…”

Motaung added: “The only thing we need in our next match is three points. We will have home advantage and we will take it from there.

“It is very important for the institution and the club to get this team promoted to the Premiership.”
