The Serie A produced plenty of goals last weekend with the only teams not to score being Udinese and Juventus who played out to a goalless draw, making Both Teams To Score a dependable betting market. This weekend log leaders Juventus will host AC Milan looking to return to winning ways in what looks to be an entertaining affair.
Hellas Verona 18/10 draw 9/4 Torino 31/20
Verona will gladly return to their home ground after losing 2-1 away to Palermo at the weekend. They have won their last two home matches, scoring four goals and conceding just one. Torino pulled off the victory of the weekend as they smashed Sampdoria 5-1 at home. It was their third consecutive win and they are now unbeaten in their last eight matches. Torino have won five of the last seven meetings away to Verona and are tipped to edge the win here.
Juventus 7/20 draw 39/10 AC Milan 8/1
Juventus will be looking to return to winning ways after a goalless draw at Udinese last time out. Juve have been outstanding on their ground as they remain unbeaten with eight wins and two draws from 10 games, scoring 27 goals and conceding just five. Milan got the better of bottom of the log Parma with a 3-1 victory at the San Siro last weekend; only their first league win this year. They lost the reverse tie 1-0 and their away form has been horrid. Back Juve to get the victory with Both Teams To Score at 23/10.
Fiorentina 5/10 draw 31/10 Atalanta 57/10
Fiorentina are coming off a 1-1 draw away to Genoa. They will host Atalanta whom they have beaten in the last six meetings. Atalanta are coming off a 2-1 home win against Cagliari but they have been inconsistent in recent weeks. The reverse fixture ended 1-0 in favour of Fiorentina and the home win is tipped here.
Cagliari 29/10 draw 5/2 Roma 19/20
Cagliari are flirting with the relegation zone as they lie just a point apart from the bottom three. They will have a mountain to climb when they host Roma who drew 1-1 at home with Empoli last weekend; their fourth consecutive draw. Roma will be desperate to find some sort of form here as they look to close the gap between themselves and Juventus. They have won the last two meetings against Cagliari and are tipped to build on that.
Empoli 5/10 draw 3/1 Cesena 11/2
16th placed Empoli will be delighted with their performance last time out as they managed a difficult point away to Roma. Cesena were impressive as well as they edged Lazio 2-1 to earn their second win in as many weeks. Not much separates these sides, with both managing just three victories from 21 matches. The draw is on the cards.
Parma 29/20 draw 21/10 Chievo 2/1
Bottom of the log Parma will play host to Chievo after losing 3-1 away to AC Milan last weekend. Chievo lost 2-1 on their turf to an in-form Napoli side; their third straight defeat. Parma are unbeaten against Chievo in the last 11 meetings. However, Chievo cannot afford to drop anymore points and the draw looks a good bet.
Sampdoria 8/10 draw 5/2 Sassuolo 37/10
Sampdoria were humiliated last weekend as they fell to a 5-1 defeat away to Torino. Sassuolo on the other hand were excellent as they earned a 3-1 victory over Inter Milan. Sampdoria are unbeaten on their turf with five wins and five draws from 10 matches. However, their confidence will be low after last weekend’s diabolical loss and Sassuolo could take advantage. Sassuolo won this fixture 4-3 last term and are tipped to break Sampdoria’s unbeaten home record.
Napoli 7/20 draw 4/1 Udinese 77/10
Napoli will lock horns with Udinese after a hard fought 2-1 win away to Chievo last time out. Udinese were solid as they played out to a goalless draw with log leaders Juventus. Napoli have been in great form, winning five of their last six matches. Udinese have travelled poorly, scoring only nine goals in 10 travels. The home win is tipped.
Inter Milan 8/10 draw 26/10 Palermo 7/2
Inter have been poor of late with back-to-back losses. They fell to a disappointing 3-1 defeat away to Sassuolo last weekend; a side that they annihilated 7-0 in the reverse tie. Palermo got a well-deserved 2-1 victory at home against Verona last time out and will be looking to build on that. However, both sides have defended sloppy this term, making Both Teams To Score a good bet.
Lazio 6/10 draw 3/1 Genoa 47/10
It was a disappointing weekend for Lazio as they were defeated 2-1 away to relegation threatened Cesena. Monday night will see them return to their home ground, where they have won seven of their 10 matches. Genoa’s winless run stretched to seven games after drawing 1-1 at home against Fiorentina. However, they have a brilliant record against Lazio, winning the last seven meetings and that trend could follow here. Back Genoa to Win/Draw at 11/10.
