Friday 3 October
15/10 Bologna | Draw 23/10 | Lazio 17/10 (21:45)
Bologna remains unbeaten in their last five fixtures after a 1-1 draw last time out against Sassuolo. The Rossoblu look a solid outfit at home and have won their previous two fixtures on home soil and will look to add Lazio to that list of casualties. Ciro Immobile snatched the win for Lazio in extra time converting his penalty kick in the 95th minute against Fiorentina. The Eagles are up to seventh place on the log standings and with three consecutive victories Maurizio Sarri will motivate and encourage his players to be brave and go for the win here. Lazio is building momentum and will get the win.
Saturday 4 October
48/10 Salernitana | Draw 7/2 | Napoli 9/20 (16:00)
Salernitana are in last place after a narrow 1-0 defeat at the hands of Genoa. They are one of two team yet to register a victory this season and will take something special to take points off defending champions Napoli. Napoli had to settle for a point each with AC Milan after a thrilling 2-2 draw. The Partenopei still have work to do in reaching the peak of their powers but have all the attacking power they need to get the win here. Napoli to win with over 2.5 goals.
43/20 Atalanta | Draw 47/20 | Inter Milan 12/10 (19:00)
Atalanta cruised to a 3-0 victory over Empoli last time out and the win sees them climb the table to fourth place on 19 points. Home ground advantage will play a key part in this fixture and the energy the crowed gives off will allow La Dea to play for the win against the best team in the league. Inter Milan have been superb up to this point and showing why they are title favourites. The win over Roma opens a four-point gap at the summit for Simone Inzaghi and his team. Inzaghi will demand the same level of performance as they look to pick up their third consecutive victory. Inter Milan to get the win.
9/20 AC Milan | Draw 34/10 | Udinese 52/10 (21:45)
Olivier Giroud’s two early goals against Napoli was not enough to secure victory and had to settle for a point each after a 2-2 draw. The Rossoneri have not won in their last three fixtures in all competitions and will be eager to get back to winning ways at the expense of 18th place Udinese. Udinese have picked up four consecutive draws leading up to this fixture and will need to come with an improved and well-planned out gameplan if they look to upset Italian giants AC Milan on their home turf. AC Milan to win with over 2.5 goals.
Sunday 5 October
19/10 Verona | Draw 9/4 | Monza 14/10 (13:30)
Verona was on their way to picking up a huge point off Juventus until they conceded late into extra time and lost the game 1-0. Three consecutive defeats will have a huge effect on the team’s morale and confidence but playing at home will allow them to play on the front foot and go for the win. Monza are slowly falling off the pace picking up just one point from their previous two fixtures. It will be back to basics and determination for the Biancorossi as they look to get back on track and back to winning ways. Monza will have enough to come away with all three points.
7/4 Cagliari | Draw 43/20 | Genoa 31/20 (16:00)
Cagliari put in a huge shift in their previous fixture and four second half goals secured their first victory of the season. Playing at home again will have a positive impact on the players and will be determined to back that win up with another victory in front of their faithful supporters. Genoa came out victors in a 1-0 victory over Salernitana in their previous match. The win takes them up to 14th spot and will back themselves to produce the same level of performance in hopes of picking up a second victory on the spin. Genoa to snatch the victory away from home.
11/20 Roma | Draw 28/10 | Lecce 48/10 (19:00)
Roma unfortunately lost 1-0 to Inter Milan previously ending a three-match unbeaten run. The Giallorossi have scored 11 goals without conceding in their last three fixtures at home making them a formidable opponent to face on their home turf. Lecce are now in the second half of the table after a great start to the campaign. The Wolves are in need of a victory after two draws and three defeats in their last five fixtures. Roma to win at home.
7/4 Fiorentina | Draw 22/10 |Juventus 31/20 (21:45)
Fiorentina will be kicking themselves after losing to Lazio in extra time 1-0. Its now two consecutive defeats which drops them down to sixth place. They will need to forget about past results and come out and compete with Juve as they look to avoid a third straight loss. Juventus are going about their business like true professionals and are unbeaten in their last five outings in the league. The win over Verona puts them in second place and two points behind leaders Inter Milan. A must win for the Bianconeri as they stay in touching distance with top spot. Juventus in better form and to win.
Monday 6 October
11/10 Frosinone | Draw 49/20 | Empoli 9/4 (19:30)
Frosinone and their defensive issues are to blame for their shock 4-3 defeat to Cagliari last time out. The fans will be behind their team and will motivate the team to go out and put on a performance worthy of three points. Empoli could not back up their impressive win against Fiorentina and lost dismally to Atalanta 3-0. The Blues play attractive football but scoring goals have been a huge problem and will need to manage the game well to give them the best possible chance of a positive result here. Frosinone are at home which is an advantage and will come out victorious.
21/20 Torino | Draw 24/10 | Sassuolo 49/20 (21:45)
Torino defeating Lecce 1-0 is their first victory in the last five fixtures. The Marrons will need a huge performance on the day as they look to pick up an important three points after two draws and a loss at home. Sassuolo are so inconsistent you never know what you will get on the day. The Neroverdi have the fire power to do better its just a matter of time until they hit their stride and start picking up points. Their away record is nothing to write home by but will look to dominate possession and go for the win. Two evenly matches teams and I back Torino for the win.
