Sunday 21 November

UWC Ladies 1/8
Draw 11/2
Durban Ladies 12/1
(15:00)
Durban Ladies make the trip from the East Coast to the West Coast of Mzansi to lock horns with UWC Ladies at the Vasco Stadium in Cape Town. These sides played out a goalless draw three months ago at the Chatsworth Stadium in a hard-fought and cagey affair.

UWC Ladies have enough depth and quality within their ranks to accomplish two wins this week.

UWC Ladies

TUT Ladies 1/12
Draw 6/1
Golden Ladies 16/1
(15:00)
TUT Ladies will be aiming to replicate their 3-0 victory over Golden Ladies when these opponents clashed in the North West with Marry Ntsweng, Tshwarelo Mpuru and Nombulelo Khumalo all finding the back of the net and displaying their quality against coach Fani Motaung’s team.

Golden Ladies have only won twice in 10 matches on their travels; expect TUT Ladies to outclass the visiting team.

TUT Ladies

Tsunami Queens 20/1
Draw 13/2
JVW FC 1/16
(15:00)
JVW FC make the trip to Harrismith to take on bottom-placed Tsunami Queens. The hosts haven’t been in the best of form and at times seem like they’re on the verge of being out of their depth, however, Golden Ladies continue to build towards next season where promotion and relegation will be imposed.

The Blue Diamonds trounced Tsunami Queens 7-0 when these sides last met at the Tsakane Stadium, more of the same is expected at the Intabazwe Sports Complex this time around.

UJ Ladies 47/10
Draw 5/2
First Touch FC 5/10
(15:00)
UJ Ladies will play their final league game on home soil this Sunday when First Touch FC come to town. The visitors have only tasted defeat once on their travels, in league action to TUT Ladies, and are priced as favourites to claim maximum points.

These sides shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with goals by Precious Choshi and Amanda Mthandi (now at Spanish club Badajoz Femenino) during the reverse-tie. Take First Touch FC for the win.

First Touch FC in action against Coal City Wizards

Coal City Wizards 33/10
Draw 23/10
Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies 7/10
(15:00)
Coal City Wizards play host to Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies in Witbank, hoping to complete a league double over Ma’Wizards. When these sides met in Bloemfontein, the game was cancelled due to unplayable weather conditions.

Days later Siwelele claimed a 2-1 victory with Nicole Michael opening the scoring and Cynthia Makete doubling Celtic’s lead, while Mdabazi Mathebula scored a consolation goal for Ma’Wizards. I can’t separate these two, my money is firmly on the stalemate.

Coal City Wizards

Thunderbirds Ladies 7/10
Draw 23/10
Ma-Indies Ladies 33/10
(15:00)
Thunderbirds Ladies and Ma-Indies Ladies close out the round of action in the Eastern Cape. This is the only match of the weekend in which both teams didn’t play a midweek fixture.
Thunderbirds will be aiming to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat to Richmond United away in De Aar, while Ma-Indies Ladies found themselves on the losing end (2-1) to high-flying TUT Ladies.

These sides played out to a 1-1 stalemate in Polokwane and I’m expecting another draw this time around.

Ma-Indies Ladies
MULTIPLE @ 18/1
UWC Ladies Win 1/8
TUT Ladies Win 1/12
JVW FC Win 1/16
First Touch FC Win 5/10
Coal City Wizards vs Bloem Celtic Draw 23/10
Thunderbirds Ladies vs Ma-Indies Ladies Draw 23/10
