Sunday 5 December
JVW FC 4/10
Draw 3/1
Richmond United 11/2
(15:00)
JVW FC were at their sparkling best last Sunday, putting six goals past Thunderbirds Ladies with goalkeeper Kaylin Swart keeping a clean sheet to claim the Blue Diamonds’ second victory from three games, in a frantic seven-day period.
The defeat came at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, who were shown an elite level sportsmanship by receiving a guard of honour from coach Ciara Picco’s charges prior to kick-off. To date, the only team to take points off Masandawana in the Hollywoodbets Super League were JVW FC in the 2-2 draw earlier this season.
Captain Nompumelelo Nyandeni will be aiming to get her hands on this season’s Golden Boot award, coming into this fixture with an amazing 24 goals to her tally.
Richmond United play their penultimate league match in midweek hosting Sundowns, for my money the Blue Diamonds will prove too strong in this encounter.
First Touch FC 1/12
Draw 6/1
Tsunami Queens 16/1
(15:00)
First Touch FC are priced as massive favourites to claim maximum points when Tsunami Queens fly into the Seshego Stadium. Tsunami Queens will not be relegated this season, but will know that being bottom next season will see them drop out of the top-division.
When the hosts made the trip to Harrismith earlier this season, they left with three points after edging the tie 2-1. With victory, First Touch FC will finish fifth on the standings.
Golden Ladies 47/10
Draw 5/2
Thunderbirds Ladies 5/10
(15:00)
Thunderbirds Ladies fly into Mafikeng hoping to complete a league double over Golden Ladies, who suffered a 1-0 defeat earlier this season thanks to a Philisa Mjambane goal.
Last weekend, Mjambane missed the clash away at JVW FC and her side suffered. It’s unsure if Thunderbirds’ star player will be available by Sunday, however, it’s mathematically impossible for anyone to leapfrog the ‘Birds and claim their seventh spot on the log.
Personally, I see Thunderbirds edging out a victory if Mjambane is fit. Wait for the line-ups and if not, select Golden Ladies on the Win or Draw Double Chance.
Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies 15/4
Draw 24/10
UWC Ladies 6/10
(15:00)
UWC Ladies travel to Bloemfontein hoping to finish the season strongly. Coach Thinasonke Mbuli’s troops have been immense this campaign, finishing third behind champions Mamelodi Sundowns and TUT Ladies.
It’s very intriguing to see what’s next for this team, who boast a bounty of talent under the guidance of one of the best coaches in the country. The ‘Bushies’ come off a 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns with Lelona Daweti scoring the for the Brazilians.
Noxolo Cesane separated the two sides with a beautiful assist from Sduduzo Dlamini, after Molatelo ‘Nemo’ Kobo equalized to complete a come from behind victory. My money is firmly on UWC Ladies to win their 15th league game of the season.
Ma-Indies Ladies 10/1
Draw 5/1
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies 1/6
(15:00)
Ma-Indies Ladies have the pleasure of facing the best team on the continent in their own backyard to finish complete the inaugural season of the Hollywoodbets Super League. The hosts were flying high early this season and have a lot of positives to be proud of as well as room for improvement.
Masandawana ran riot with a 3-0 victory over Ma-Indies and I’m expecting another convincing win for the champions who’re aiming to unbeaten all season. Banker Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
QUAD @ 5/1
JVW FC Win 4/10
Golden Ladies Or Draw 13/10
UWC Ladies Win 6/10
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Win 1/6
