Johannesburg – Iconic sports presenter, Robert Marawa, officially announced his brand ambassador role with South Africa’s largest sports betting operator, Hollywoodbets. At an event that took place at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, Marawa and Hollywoodbets broke the news of the two big brands merging, with the goal to bring South Africans closer to sport than ever before.
With the digital space now more accessible in South Africa, the sports betting industry has seen a major boom over the last few years. Marawa is known for his enthralling brand of journalism, which pulls no punches, and tackles some of the most important sports topics in South Africa.
Marawa will add value with his experience, knowledge and opinion through the creation of bespoke content for the Purple brand’s audience. With these two brands’ shared passion for sport, they announced that they will be collaborating on several initiatives to promote South Africa’s sporting talent. They will also be looking to expand their collaboration into other African countries.
