Here are three players to watch out for in tonight’s Betway Premiership action:
Prins Menelik Tjiueza (Cape Town City)
The forward has been a revelation in recent weeks, netting two goals in his last two starts in the Betway Premiership. The promising youngster will be looking to extend his scoring streak when City face Mamelodi Sundowns.
This encounter will be a particularly intriguing clash for Tjiueza, as he is set to go head-to-head with his fellow countryman and Mamelodi Sundowns’ star striker, Peter Shalulile.
Tashreeq Morris (SuperSport United)
The emergency signing has already proved pivotal this season, securing the three points in their SuperSport’s recent run out against Kaizer Chiefs securing a memorable victory for Gavin Hunt.
Brought in to lead the line following Bradley Grobler’s long term injury, I think Morris will find the back of the net in consecutive league outings as he eyes up a Golden Arrow’s defence that has condeded nine goals across their previous three outings (across all competitions).
Mduduzi Shabalala (Kaizer Chiefs)
The attacker has been somewhat of a revelation this season. Under the tutelage of Nabi, the twenty year old has shown a great deal of improvement which is evident contributions in the advanced areas of the pitch.
Shabalala has delivered two assists and a goal in Chief’s previous four away fixtures, across all competitions. Last time out against SuperSport United, he attempted three shots and created four chances for his teammates so keep an eye out on him here!
