A commanding 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund saw Bayern Munich move six points clear of BVB.

The Bundesliga returns this weekend and by the looks of things, Bayern Munich are back in control. A commanding 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund saw them move six points clear of BVB, while they remain four points ahead of Leipzig. Freiburg, Werder Bremen and Cologne occupy the bottom three places and all three of those teams will be desperate to dig themselves out of the mess they find themselves in. Let’s find out what’s worth backing this weekend.

Friday 17 November

36/10 Stuttgart | Draw 33/10 | Borussia Dortmund 13/20 (21:30)

Stuttgart will take on Borussia Dortmund in the opening match of the round. Die Roten have been excellent on home soil with an unbeaten record of four wins and one draw from five matches, scoring seven goals and conceding just once. The Yellow and Black army have been poor in recent weeks with three losses from their last four games, including back-to-back defeats and will know how vital it is for them to return to winning ways. The last eight meetings have produced a combined 36 goals at an average of 4.5 goals per game and I expect this one to be no different. Get on the Over 4.5 Goals market at a hefty 23/10!

Saturday 18 November

23/20 Bayer Leverkusen | 11/4 | Leipzig 2/1 (16:30)

Bayer Leverkusen and Leipzig look sure to serve up a cracker. The home side are unbeaten in their last six matches, while their opponents have won five of their last six matches but their away form has been unpredictable to say the least. An end-to-end game of football is on the cards with both sides known for their attacking style of play. Last season’s meeting served up a five-goal thriller, so get on the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 9/20!

13/20 Wolfsburg | 29/10 | Freiburg 4/1 (16:30)

Wolfsburg have managed just one win from 11 matches, drawing eight times and suffering two defeats. Freiburg have also registered just one victory this term but scoring just six goals and conceding 21 times – showing their lack of quality in defence and attack. This is certainly not a contest worth wagering too much cash on but if we find the right market, it might just be worth a small dabble. A cagey affair is expected and the Totals – Under 2.5 Goals – market is tipped at 19/20.

2/13 Bayern Munich | 7/1 | Augsburg 14/1 (16:30)

Bayern Munich have been on a role with four consecutive wins, including an impressive 3-1 victory at Borussia Dortmund last time out. Augsburg have proven to be stubborn on their travels in recent weeks and remain undefeated in their last four games on the road with two wins. However, Bayern Munich are not one of those teams that they can try defending against for 90 minutes, with the Bavarians likely to split their defence at least once.Get on the Bayern Munich Half-time/Full-time Win at 9/20.

23/20 Hoffenheim | 26/10 | Eintracht Frankfurt 21/10 (16:30)

Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt will lock horns at Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena on Saturday afternoon. Die Kraichgauer ended a run of four matches without a victory before the international break, thrashing Cologne 3-0 on their own ground. Eintracht Frankfurt are unbeaten in their last five matches with three wins and they will be looking to maintain that sort of form with a solid and organized performance against Hoffenheim. A low-scoring affair is on the cards, so back the Totals – Under 2.5 Goals – market at 23/20.

1/1 Mainz | 24/10 | Cologne 28/10 (16:30)

Mainz and Cologne are next up to do battle for the all-important three points. Die Nullfünfer might be four points clear of the relegation zone but they will know they need to pick up some points and hopefully get some breathing space. Cologne are bottom of the table without a win after 11 matches, scoring just four goals, conceding 22 times and collecting just two points in the process. With home advantage, Mainz is tipped to get the win.

2/1 Hertha Berlin | 23/10 | Monchengladbach 27/20 (19:30)

Saturday’s final matchup sees Hertha Berlin face off against Monchengladbach. Die Alte Dame have managed just three wins from 11 matches, with all three victories coming on home soil. Monchengladbach have been inconsistent of late but have won two games on the bounce. Hertha Berlin are tough to beat at home, while their opponents have done well on the road recently. Both Teams to Score – Yes – is tipped at 7/10.

Sunday 19 November

6/10 Schalke | 29/10 | Hamburg 47/10 (16:30)

Schalke and Hamburg will kick-start Sunday’s proceedings. Die Konigsblauen are unbeaten in their last six matches with four wins and two draws. Hamburg returned to winning ways last time out with a 3-1 home win over Stuttgart, putting an end to a three-match losing streak. Hamburg have been terrible on their travels with four straight defeats and that doesn’t look like improving here. The home team is tipped to claim maximum points.

12/10 Werder Bremen | 5/2 | Hannover 21/10 (19:00)

Werder Bremen and Hannover will bring a close to round 12 of the Bundesliga. The home side are second from bottom on the log without a win after 11 matches, scoring just four goals and conceding 14 times. Hannover find themselves placed sixth on the table – higher than most football pundits would have predicted in the beginning of the season. It’s a tough one to call and I will be calling this totally based on form. With that being said, the Win/Draw Double Chance on the away team is worth backing at 6/10.

TREBLE @ 13/1

Stuttgart vs Dortmund Over 4.5 Goals 23/10

Hoffenheim vs Ein. Frankfurt Under 2.5 Goals 23/20

Mainz Win 1/1
