We head into the 26th round of the 18/19 Ligue 1 season with PSG running away with the title. At the time of writing, the Parisian giants have a 12-point lead atop the standings with two games in hand over their nearest challengers – incredible stuff!

The biggest fixture of the week will see an improving Monaco host Lyon while PSG are at home against Nimes and second-placed Lille make the trip to Strasbourg.

Friday 22 February

Dijon 22/10

Draw 47/20

St. Etienne 12/10

(20:00)

Dijon head into this weekend’s fixtures against St. Etienne having finally dipped into the promotion/relegation spot following their 2-0 away defeat at the hands of Nimes. They will face an incredibly difficult task when they host Jean Louis Gasset’s men who will no doubt look to use this fixture as a means to get their own campaign back on track. St. Etienne – despite recent troubles – still find themselves in contention for a European spot. They’ll certainly have to improve on their recent form if they are to remain in the upper echelons of the division. They’ve only picked up a single win in their last five league outings which have included defeats against the likes of Lyon, Stade Rennais and PSG. St. Etienne should have too much quality for a Dijon outfit who are in freefall at the moment.

Strasbourg 7/4

Draw 2/1

Lille 7/4

(21:45)

Strasbourg have just started to buckle a bit under the weight of the hype they created in the first half of the season. They certainly have been one of the surprise packages of the season, but a couple of poor results in recent weeks threatens to scupper their season – think Nantes in 2017/18. They’ll have to face the biggest surprise package of the campaign, Lille. From relegation scrappers last season to the best of the rest behind PSG this term, Christophe Galtier has worked wonders with his squad. They look nailed on to earn a Champions League spot next season barring any big slip-ups in the coming weeks. Big value on Lille to get the points here at 7/4.

Saturday 23 February

PSG 1/5

Draw 57/10

Nimes 11/1

(18:00)

The fact that the Parisians have a 2-0 lead over Manchester United in the Champions League round of 16 tie will significantly reduce the pressure for the visit of Nimes. Expect Thomas Tuchel’s men to glide through the gears here and pick up and easy win. Take them to Win to Nil at even money.

Amiens 16/10

Draw 39/20

Nice 39/20

(21:00)

Amiens are still in very real danger of being chopped from the league, sitting just a single point above the promotion/relegation spot. They’re on a dire run of form which has seen them pick up just five points in nine league outings. At this point it’s very much a case of hoping that the teams below them don’t hit a run of form, otherwise they’ll be in big trouble. Nice are enduring another underwhelming season. They occupy eighth place on the standings, but are interestingly just three points off of Marseille who sit fourth. They just can’t seem to put together a run of results which would see them really push for a Europa League spot. Still, Nice should expect nothing less than a win against Amiens – 39/20 is a nice bit of value.

Guingamp 29/20

Draw 2/1

Angers 2/1

(21:00)

Guingamp must be resigned to their fate now after suffering their fourth-straight defeat at the hands of Lyon last weekend. They’ve only picked up 14 points in 24 matches this season and are eight points shy of safety at the moment. Angers, meanwhile, have won three on the spin and are up to 12th on the standings. There’s absolutely no reason to think that Angers will lose this match against such sub-standard opposition. Get on Angers to get the job done here at a very tasty 2/1 – definitely one you can use to seriously fatten up weekend multiples.

Nantes 23/20

Draw 43/20

Bordeaux 51/20

(16:00)

We’re off to Nantes next where the hosts will be desperate to take advantage of Bordeaux’s tragic recent away form. While it’s not panic stations yet for Nantes, they’re certainly closer to the drop zone than they’d like to be at this point of the season and will be checking behind them nervously as the run in begins. Their recent home form in Ligue 1 hasn’t been great, with a draw against St. Etienne sandwiched between defeats against Stade Rennais and Nimes. Bordeaux have only picked up three points out of 15 in their last five away fixtures with a 2-1 victory against Angers a couple of weeks ago. The other four results in this sequence saw them lose 1-0 away at Nice, Strasbourg, Marseille and PSG. This has Under 2.5 Goals written all over it, get on at 11/20.

Toulouse 9/10

Draw 23/10

Caen 33/10

(16:00)

Toulouse have enjoyed a better season than last but are still not safe from the drop. Their recent form hasn’t helped their cause with two draws and two defeats in their last four league outings. Their home form doesn’t make for pretty reading either, they’ve not win in 10 outings at the Stadium de Toulouse. Caen will be desperate to haul themselves out of the automatic relegation zone. They did put an end to a five-match losing streak last time out, earning a respectable 0-0 home draw against Strasbourg. Still, it’s difficult to see them coming away with anything against Toulouse who really should have their number. Back the hosts to break their home winless run at 9/10.

Montpellier 12/10

Draw 21/10

Reims 5/2

(16:00)

Montpellier really do have incredible knack of drawing matches. Five of their last six league matches have ended in stalemates with the other result in that run of games being a 2-0 home win over Caen. They’ll welcome a Reims outfit who are flying high at the moment in seventh place on the standings. The minnows have drawn four of their last five away league matches. I’m sure you can see where I’m going with this. Back the draw here at 21/10.

Stade Rennais 7/4

Draw 47/20

Marseille 15/10

(18:00)

Stade Rennais have enjoyed a middling season which sees them occupy 11th spot on the standings at the moment. They’ve lacked the sort of consistency that is required to mount a European push but haven’t been so bad that they looked as though they’d get dragged into the relegation zone. They’ll certainly fancy their chances at Roazhon Park against a Marseille side who have battled on the road this season. Marseille really have struggled to pick up points away from the Orange Velodrome this season, only picking up five wins in 13 games and routinely slipping up against lesser opposition. They did, however, pick up all three points away at lowly Dijon last time out. I still expect Rennes to come away with something. Back the home team on the Win/Draw at 5/10.

Monaco 23/10

Draw 26/10

Lyon 21/20

(22:00)

We’re off to the Principality of Monaco next where the beleaguered hosts will face up to Lyon. They have experienced something of a renaissance of late, picking up seven points from their last three games and climbing out of the relegation zone. Still, you’d expect a Lyon outfit chock-full of world class players to claim the points here. They’ve won four out of their last five games, including a very impressive 2-1 home win over PSG. 21/20 is a great price and definitely one to add to weekend multi’s.

TREBLE @ 11/1

PSG Win To Nil 1/1

Angers Win 2/1

Lyon Win 21/20
