Sead Ramovic, who recently stepped down as head coach of TS Galaxy, has secured a new role as the manager of Young Africans in Tanzania. The former Galaxy boss replaces Miguel Gamondi, who previously coached South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ramovic’s three-year tenure at Galaxy was marked by both successes and challenges. He guided the club to their highest-ever PSL finish of sixth place last season, and they also reached the Carling Knockout Cup final.
However, the 2023/24 season proved to be a difficult one. A FIFA-imposed transfer ban and the loss of key players hampered Galaxy’s performance, leading to a winless start and a position at the bottom of the league table.
