Former Kaizer Chiefs player Puso Dithejane eager to be part of Bafana Bafana

TS Galaxy midfielder Puso Dithejane is determined to reach his full potential, acknowledging that he still has work to do to play his best football.

The former Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) player has made 13 appearances for Galaxy this season, scoring one goal, but he believes he can contribute more to the team.

Reflecting on his season so far, Dithejane revealed that he is putting in extra work to improve his game and regain his confidence.

“I can’t say I’m happy with how my season is going so far, but I’m progressing. You are yet to witness a new Puso Dithejane. I just need time to get my confidence back,” the midfielder told iDiski Times.

“What I still need to fix in my game is scoring goals and providing assists. So, I stay behind after training, doing extra work like shooting and passing, just fixing my game. Expect a new Puso Dithejane soon.”

The Galaxy midfielder also expressed his aspirations to return to the Bafana Bafana setup, having previously represented the national team at the 2023 COSAFA Cup.

“The Puso Dithejane that makes the national team is who you should expect, and I won’t just give up on being in the national team because I do have the potential to be there,” he stated.

“So, I’m going to push and add what’s necessary for me to be in the national team.”

Dithejane joined Galaxy in 2023 after leaving Kaizer Chiefs, where he parted ways with the club following allegations of misconduct.

Despite the challenges, the Galaxy midfielder remains optimistic about his future and focused on achieving his goals.
