Orlando Pirates will take on Sagrada Esperanca in the first leg of their first round clash of the CAF Confederation Cup on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers travel to Angola where they will face Sagrada at Estadio dos Coqueiros at 4pm.
Josef Zinnbauer’s charges take some momentum into the encounter as they are still unbeaten across all competitions this season, and won their last two games against Bloemfontein Celtic, in the MTN8 final, and Chippa United in the DStv Premiership.
Zinnbauer said his charges are well prepared for the Angolan outfit, but also added that they do look like a good team.
“We have information about the team and we know what we have to do against them‚” Zinnbauer told the media.
“It is not going to be an easy game for us because away games are always difficult on the continent.
“The opponent is not so bad and they look good because I have watched them together with the other coaches when we were analyzing them.”
Esperanca are known as “The Diamonds” and went through to the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup after their preliminary round against Mbabane Swallows from Eswatini was cancelled.
This will be the Angolan side’s first competitive game since March this year.
