Manchester United has parted ways with their head coach Erik Ten Hag following a series of unfavourable results.
Ten Hag joined the Red Devils in April 2022 leading them to a third-place league finish in his first season. Things took a turn for the worst last season as they finished eighth after collecting 60 points.
He was in charge of United for 128 matches recording 72 victories, 20 draws and suffered 36 defeats. He won two trophies, the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.
His last match in charge resulted in a 2-1 loss against West Ham United. United are currently 14th on the log with 11 points after nine games.

“Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United men’s first-team manager.
Erik was appointed in April 2022 and led the club to two domestic trophies, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.
We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well in the future.
Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge of the team as interim head coach, supported by the current coaching team, whilst a permanent head coach is recruited.”
