Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler is putting a positive spin on his side’s crumbling campaign in the DStv Premiership.
The Citizens were in good form earlier on in the season but have since slumped to seventh on the league standings.
They have managed just nine wins all season and were eliminated in the first round of the MTN8, Carling Knockout Cup and Nedbank Cup.
City most recently went down 2-0 to Orlando Pirates and have now not tasted victory in their last 10 league games.
Next up for Tinkler’s charges in a clash with 13th place Moroka Swallows and the City boss is targeting a massive improvement from his side with all three points.
The head coach said in the Citizen: “Something will trigger it, one moment, one goal can trigger you from a negative situation into a positive situation.
“We are one win away from turning it around, positive mindset.”
