Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 in Saturday’s marquee Premier League clash, moving up to 15th place in the standings in the process after their dreadful start to the 2015-16 campaign.

Meanwhile, Manchester City’s perfect start to the season came to an end despite Kevin de Bruyne’s debut goal, as West Ham United went into the Etihad to hand the league-leaders their first loss of the season.

Stoke City held Leicester City to a 2-2 draw, while Sunderland’s struggles continued, losing 2-0 to Bournemouth.

On Sunday, Anthony Martial continued his amazing start to life in the Premier League with two goals for Manchester United in their victory at Southampton. The Saints’ Graziano Pelle also grabbed a brace for his side as United won 3-2, with both strikers bursting into the top 10 of the goalscorers chart.

Norwich City held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield on Sunday, as goals from Danny Ings and Russell Martin dictated a share of the points.
