English Premier League: Gameweek 32 Preview

Leeds United will be hoping to follow up the victory over Man City with Liverpool up next on Monday

Not a full complement of fixtures, but we come into the weekend off the back of a good treble win last time out! I really hope you got on.

Ryan Liberty returns with his thoughts and predictions ahead of the league action all completed with a very attractive treble.

Friday 16 April

Everton 9/4

Draw 23/10

Tottenham 12/10

(21:00)

This game has everything required to be an absolutely incredible encounter, or indeed the personification of boredom. Spurs come into the game after a rather fair effort against United, I wouldn’t fault Spurs too much – they lost to a better side. Everton have constantly flattered to deceive; I enjoy Carlo Ancelotti and have immense respect for everything he’s done but I can’t rely on the Toffees. This is the sort of game Mourinho will be able to dictate, back Spurs on the Win/Draw Double Chance + Under 2.5 at 13/10.

Saturday 17 April

Newcastle United 11/4

Draw 49/20

West Ham United 1/1

(13:30)

Newcastle certainly gave themselves a chance at survival at the weekend, and whilst I acknowledge the positive performance…I’m not exactly jumping up and down suggesting Newcastle will see the Premier League next year. West Ham have been incredible – back them at whatever odds you can find!

Wolves 13/20

Draw 51/20

Sheffield United 48/10

(21:15)

This might not be a popular opinion but this will be an incredibly cagey game. Wolves have a young and fresh side but they haven’t as yet hit their straps. Sheffield just continues to disappoint me, and as I have previously indicated our relationship has reached its untimely demise. I wouldn’t include this game in anything this weekend but if you must have a punt, back the draw at 48/10.

Sunday 18 April

Arsenal 7/10

Draw 26/10

Fulham 39/10

(14:30)

Arsenal looked really good last time out, but again they aren’t exactly a side you can always trust. Fulham will certainly ask questions and test Arsenal’s last line. Scott Parker continues to impress with his young side and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Cottagers get a result. For my money, Both Teams to Score at even money is a gift. Get on!

Manchester United 7/20

Draw 39/10

Burnley 7/1

(17:00)

I’ve become a little disillusioned with Burnley recently, they are so well-known for their robust and physical approach to football games – and yet when last have we seen that? United continue to grind out results even when they aren’t always playing the most attractive football, and whilst as a fan it isn’t always pretty, it is important. I can’t justify any reason to go against United so duly pile on!

Monday 19 April

Leeds United 7/2

Draw 32/10

Liverpool 13/20

(21:00)

I am really looking forward to this game! Leeds come into this game off the back of an incredible win at City, it’s with results such as those that Bielsa makes hypocrites of all of us. Leeds stuck to their approach (not only against City, but even when they go to ten men) and even though on another day they could have been truly dismantled by Pep’s men – they ended up coming away with a massive win. Liverpool, on the other hand, required a late last gasp goal to get past a spirited Villa but in truth they dominated the game. For all the marbles I would go with Both Teams to Score + Over 2.5 at 8/10.

Tuesday 20 April

Chelsea 11/20

Draw 29/10

Brighton 48/10

(21:00)

Chelsea responded well to their defeat with West Brom by dispatching Palace, not that there was any assumption the defeat to the Baggies was some sort of indication of things to come. Brighton have been impressive but they don’t match up to Chelsea. I can’t see past the Chelsea win but for extra value I might consider throwing in Both Teams to Score – but that wouldn’t be for the multiples. Back the Blues on the straight win and you can add that to everything.

QUAD @ 7/1

West Ham Win 1/1

Leeds v Liverpool BTTS + Over 2.5 8/10

Manchester United Win 7/20

Chelsea Win 11/20
