English Premier League: Gameweek 10 Preview

Liverpool v Chelsea: Kick-off time, betting odds, players to watch & more!

Another week of incredible football beckons, Chelsea travel to Old Trafford (so look out for that feature preview) but elsewhere, Arsenal kick things off with a trip to St. James’.

There is money to be made folks, let’s go!

Saturday 2 November

26/10 Newcastle | Draw 47/20 | Arsenal 19/20 (14:30)

Newcastle continues to miss their attacking threats; it really is simple as that. When you watch them play, you almost feel as though they deserve something more…but an inability upfront is a deficiency their opponents are taking advantage of.

Arsenal is the complete team here though and at 19/20 I can’t see past the away win as the obvious pick.

4/10 Liverpool | Draw 37/10 | Brighton 56/10 (17:00)

Brighton is playing some really good football at the moment, I thought they were a little sluggish against Wolves last time out, but the passages of play they are beginning to put together are impressive.

Liverpool, at home, not much more required if you want a banker at the moment is there? Arne Slot has been formidable, and I don’t see that changing here.

12/10 Ipswich | Draw 22/10 | Leicester 43/20 (17:00)

I continuously find myself feeling really sorry for Kieran McKenna, I think his side play with such commendable belief and intensity. However, the longer it takes them to claim a win, the more confidence is going to evaporate, and their belief will start to falter.

Leicester have shown that when teams create expansive moments, they can take full advantage of it. Other than that, I haven’t been too impressed by the Foxes. I’m going to stick my neck out and back the home side here.

44/10 Bournemouth | Draw 29/10 | Manchester City 11/20 (17:00)

I think the last two Bournemouth results have been absolutely incredible. The win over Arsenal and then consolidating that with a point against Aston Villa should never be undersold.

City have shown that they can be vulnerable to a neat and tidy compact side. Bournemouth certainly have the attacking prowess to take advantage of any short chance, but whether or not they can withstand the inevitable onslaught is itself the problem.

Back the visitors on the win/draw double chance and over 2.5 goals.

31/20 Southampton | Draw 21/10 | Everton 17/10 (17:00)

I think Southampton were really good against City. They knew they needed to be conservative, but to do so after the wind was taken out of their sails the week before is mightily indicative of a strong mentality.

Everton have huffed and puffed a little, but I think they could be shocked here. The hosts will know they have no choice but to have a crack and I think they come away with something.

Back the hosts on the win/draw double chance and both teams scoring.

12/10 Nott’m Forest | Draw 43/20 | West Ham 22/10 (17:00)

As much as I love watching Forest play, it was their attacking approach which attracted my attention. Ironically, they aren’t scoring all that many goals these days and instead, it is their defensive record which has underpinned all of their immediate success.

West Ham proved to be the nail which finally put away Erik ten Hag, but they will know they must now consolidate that performance with something. I’m not sure they can – back the hosts.

7/4 Wolves | Draw 2/1 | Crystal Palace 31/20 (19:30)

What a result that was for Palace against Spurs. They had almost nothing going for them, and yet you just got the feeling that if there was a side they could surprise it would be Spurs!

Wolves have come so close to claiming two seismic wins, I think they can get the job done here.
