This marks Dylan Kerr‘s third homecoming with Marumo Gallants (previously known as Bidvest Wits). In his previous stint (2020/21 season), he led the team to their first-ever Nedbank Cup victory.
Kerr returns after a brief spell as acting head coach last season, where he guided the team to a respectable finish in the CAF Confederation Cup despite work permit issues.
His return comes after Marumo Gallants acquired Moroka Swallows FC, securing their return to the DStv Premiership. This is a popular appointment amongst Marumo Gallant’s fans, with Kerr’s experience and past success boding well for the upcoming season!
