Durban City are set to make another change in the dugout, with head coach Khalil Ben Youssef reportedly dismissed after just three months in charge.
According to FarPost, Ben Youssef took the team through training on Saturday morning before the club informed him and members of his technical staff that their time at the club had come to an end.
The Tunisian coach was appointed in June to lead City into the 2026/27 campaign, but his tenure has reportedly been cut short after a difficult start to their league season.
City have collected seven points from their opening seven Betway Premiership matches, recording one victory, four draws and two defeats. Their most recent league fixture ended in a 1-1 draw against fellow newcomers Milford FC last Sunday.
The decision comes despite Ben Youssef guiding the club into the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
City defeated Burundi’s Rukinzo FC 1-0 at home before completing a 2-1 away victory to advance 3-1 on aggregate from the first preliminary round.
Ben Youssef was given a short window to change the club’s fortunes, with sources claiming he was expected to deliver results in two matches. City subsequently lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates before drawing with Milford.
His departure would represent another chapter in the club’s recent coaching instability.
