A Bradley Grobler brace secured a 2-1 win for SuperSport United over Cape Town Spurs at Athlone Stadium in DStv Premiership action on Wednesday evening.

SuperSport had to come from behind after Therlow Moosa had given Spurs the lead five minutes in before Grobler (35′, 86′) completed the turnaround.

Matsatsantsa move up into second position on the standings with the victory, while Spurs remain rooted to the bottom of the table without a single point from their opening eight fixtures.

Swallows 0-0 Chippa United

Swallows and Chippa United could not be separated as the sides played to a goalless draw at Dobsonville Stadium.

Swallows remain in third position, while Chippa are in seventh with the sides just one point adrift of one another.

It was an evenly-matched game with only three shots on target in total.

Stellenbosch FC 3-0 TS Galaxy

Stellenbosch brushed aside TS Galaxy at Danie Craven Stadium.

Stellies prevailed through goals from Thabo Maloisane, Devin Titus and Antonio van Wyk.

The sides are also just one point apart with Stellies in 10th and Galaxy in 12th.

Richards Bay 0-1 Polokwane City

Ten-man Richards Bay fell to a 1-0 defeat to Polokwane City at King Zwelithini Stadium.

Sinethemba Mngomezulu was given his marching orders in the 15th minute and Rise and Shine took until half-time stoppage time to capitalise on their numerical advantage with Mokibelo Ramabu getting the goal for City.
