Mamelodi Sundowns have rewarded coach Pitso Mosimane with a new four-year contract after a successful season with the club.
The Brazilians lifted the Premiership title in record fashion last term and have impressed in their first two 2016 CAF Champions League fixtures.
It’s been a remarkable turnaround for Mosimane as Sundowns fans were calling for him to be sacked earlier in the campaign after a less than impressive start to proceedings.
However, the former Bafana Bafana coach says the commitment won’t allow complacency to creep in as he knows how the industry works.
“I have signed it and delivered it to the club,” Mosimane told KickOff. “But you know a contract is only worth so much. I had a contract with Bafana Bafana and I was fired.”
Mosimane has won two league titles and the Nedbank Cup since arriving at Chloorkop in 2012.
